Start Local. Build National.
If your municipality isn't fixing it, put it on the map.
Electricity and generators, waste collection, water, public land occupied privately, pavements blocked off by a business, missing traffic lights, noise, road condition — if your municipality is responsible for it and hasn't dealt with it, it belongs on the map.
Because accountability begins at your doorstep.
What you can report
These are the categories on the report form. They are examples of the ground we cover, not a closed list.
Electricity and generators
Power cuts, unsafe wiring, street lighting that never comes on, and private generators breaking the rules on hours, fumes or noise.
Waste collection
Rubbish left uncollected, overflowing bins, illegal dumping and open burning.
Water
Supply cut off, water that isn't safe to drink, burst mains and leaks running down the street.
Public land and pavements
Public land occupied privately, pavements blocked off by a business, a crane or skip standing in the street for years, damaged parks and squares.
Roads and traffic
Road surface and unasphalted streets, plus missing traffic lights and junctions that are unsafe to cross.
Sewage
Blocked drains, overflow into the street, and smells from an untreated line.
Anything else the council answers for
Noise from modified vehicles or venues, encroachment on public property, enforcement that never happens. If it is the municipality's job, file it here.
Not sure it fits? File it anyway. We would rather see it and sort out the category ourselves than have it go unrecorded.
